Narrative and storytelling
Find meaning, learn and inspire through the stories you tell
We live in a time where trust in leadership is low so leaders need to have a meaningful story of self: who are you to lead, what drives you and why should I follow?
We live in a time of VUCA where we struggle to make meaning in the face of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. Collectively putting our story - past, present and future - into black and white will clarify, align and shape the journey.
We live in a time of ‘virtual’ where collective endeavour is needed more than ever. Culture is the sum of the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves so we need leaders who can keep connecting us together through the stories they tell.
As we work together, we’ll get curious about your ‘way of being’ - how you show up, the language you use, the emotions that come easily … and those that don’t. We’ll explore the systems you live and work in and what is wanting to happen here.
We’ll listen, sense, observe, and notice to bring awareness to help you make sense of, navigate and influence your environment.

Alignment
Build purposeful teams with a collective mission
While consensus is often held as the ideal for decision making, it’s not always attainable. Instead of setting consensus or full agreement as the ambition, we’ll focus on finding alignment, our common interest or goal.
As individuals we can also be in conflict with ourselves. We say ‘I feel torn; I’m lost; I’m tied in knots’ - an expression of our own misalignment.
Whether the conversation is with one or many, for alignment to happen space is needed for all voices to be heard and listened to. While the voices may not always fully agree, we bring tools, methods and other sources of wisdom to bring alignment around what matters most.
Wherever we are now and whatever is next, will be formed by the steps we take. Becoming the person, team, organisation or partnership that we want to be calls us to let go of old habits and make space for new ones. We will work to design steps to begin walking the new path.
Wanderer, your footprints are
the path, and nothing else;
wanderer, there is no path,
the path is made by walking.
Antonio Machado
